RR_Logo_Full_Color_CMYK-01(1)While you can always recycle traditionally non-recyclable waste with TerraCycle, did you know that your school can win prizes for the beverage cans and bottles it is already recycling? Thanks to PepsiCo and their partnership with TerraCycle, the PepsiCo Recycle Rally is coming to more schools than ever! K-12 schools have the chance to earn prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000 throughout the year, not only for keeping track of how many beverage cans and bottles are recycled, but for sharing artwork, photos, educational content, and other creative messages that promote recycling and raise awareness in their communities.

Once a school signs up, they can easily access lesson plans and begin self-reporting their current recycling efforts with fun and educative tracking tools. To sign up, visit the PepsiCo Recycle Rally page to start reporting how much you recycle today!

As schools work to recycle with fun and creativity, PepsiCo and TerraCycle hope young people turn recycling into a lifelong habit as we all lead our communities into a more environmentally friendly future. Since the Recycle Rally’s inception in 2010, over 1,000 schools have participated, keeping an estimated 50 million beverage containers out of landfills and earning dozens of schools a combined total of more than $800,000 in cash awards and prizes. These efforts not only benefit schools and their communities, but also help PepsiCo support water conservation and military veterans through their partnerships with The Nature Conservancy and The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities.

Have any questions about the Rally? Feel free to contact PepsiCo Recycling or TerraCycle. Look out for the Recycle Rally sign up promotion, collection programs, and more incentives and contests at www.TerraCycle.com.
